The Family Tree

Many years ago, strong hands planted a tiny tree into the ground. Throughout the years, the tree grew and grew and became a wondrous sight. Its many branches offered shade in the summer and provided a home to birds and shelter to animals. It became known as the family tree with its branches representing each person in the family.

One night, a strong wind tore a branch from the family tree. The loving hands that planted the tree helped ease the feeling of loss by coming up with a creative plan for the broken branch.
